Custom Made or Customising a Gown From Our Rail

Not every bride needs to start from a blank page. Understanding the difference between our two routes saves time, money and second guessing.
Custom made
A gown designed from nothing, drafted to your measurements and built for you alone. Choose this when you have a specific vision, when your proportions are not served by existing shapes, or when you want something that simply does not exist yet. Allow four to six months.
Customising from our rail
You choose and purchase a gown or studio sample from our own collection, and we then redesign and rebuild it in house. Sleeves added, a neckline raised, a back closed, beading changed, a train reshaped. Allow six to ten weeks.
An important distinction
Customising applies to gowns bought from Saarahjasmin Couture. We do not redesign gowns purchased elsewhere. If you already own a gown and need it fitted or reconstructed, that is handled through our alterations service.
How to decide
If you walk into the atelier, see something on the rail and feel it in your chest, customise. If you have been searching for two years and nothing is quite right, commission. Both end with a gown that belongs to no one else.
