How Early Should You Order Your Nikkah Dress

How Early Should You Order Your Nikkah Dress

The single thing that most affects how calm your Nikkah dress process feels is when you start. Not your budget, not your design.

The comfortable timeline

Three to four months before the date is ideal. That allows a consultation without pressure, time to source fabric properly, four weeks of production and two fittings with room to change your mind about a sleeve or a neckline.

The realistic minimum

Six to eight weeks is workable for a classic Nikkah dress. Beading is the constraint, because hand work cannot be compressed the way machine sewing can. A heavily beaded dress needs the longer end of that.

What a rush actually buys

A rush fee moves your commission ahead of others already in the studio and adds hours to the working day. It does not shorten the drying time of a pressed seam or the hours a beader needs at a table. We will always tell you honestly whether a date is possible rather than take a deposit we cannot deliver against.

Book the consultation before you decide anything

You do not need a design, a fabric or a final guest list to come in. You need your date. Everything else we work out together.
